Who we do

We design and deliver 120-hour internship programmes that combine digital learning, supervised self-study, mentoring, practical assignments, project work, reflection, and assessment. Our first tracks focus on self-development and community health awareness.

How it work

Students complete short digital learning units, attend interactive sessions, undertake guided assignments, maintain a learning portfolio, complete a campus or community-based project and present their learning for assessment and certification.

For Colleges

Open Institute works with colleges to provide structured internship opportunities for undergraduate students. Programmes may be delivered online, blended, or in partnership with the college depending on local requirements.

We provide programme design, digital content, guided self-learning materials, attendance records, assignments, project frameworks, assessment structure and certification support.

For Students

Open Institute internships are designed for students who want to do more than collect a certificate. Students complete real tasks, maintain a learning portfolio, participate in guided discussions, undertake project work and present their learning.

The objective is to help students become more confident, thoughtful, skilled and socially responsible.

Public Benefit Orientation

As an initiative of Alliance for Community Capacity Building in Northeast India, Open Institute is guided by a public-benefit mission. Its purpose is to build capacity among young people, educational institutions and communities, especially in Northeast India.

The long-term vision is to create a platform for practical, ethical and socially useful learning that can support education, health awareness, civic responsibility and community development.
